REDFERN: Minister for Transport Gladys Berejiklian has announced that the first lift at Redfern station will be on the Inner West line on platform 6 and 7, allowing access to frequent services to the city as well as services to centres such as Newtown, Burwood and Strathfield. The statement coincided with opal ticketing being introduced at Redfern for the now 50,000 customers passing through the station every day.
