Eora College has been servicing local and statewide Aboriginal communities since July 6, 1984, from both its Redfern, and more recently, purpose-built Darlington campus. Sydney University is seeking approval for a 68 per-cent increase to its Camperdown-Darlington campus floor space by the end of 2020. This will accommodate a 21 per-cent increase in students on the campus as well as 4,000 units of “affordable” student accommodation.
DARLINGTON: Residents have expressed their opposition to the proposed University of Sydney student accommodation to be built on Abercrombie Street. The accommodation, part of the University’s Abercrombie Precinct Development, will provide studio apartment rooms for 200 students.
Sydney Local Health District (SLHD) oversaw the installation of an Automatic Dispensing Machine (ADM) in front of the Redfern Health Centre in February 2013.
